30 minute sessions at one of my favorite fields in Charlottesville, in the evening (or first thing in the morning for your early risers) when the light is just right.

How do I book with you?

How much planning is involved?
Once you’ve booked with me I’ll send over the client prep guide that covers 90% of the most common questions people have when getting ready for their photo shoot. I’ll also ask you to fill out a questionnaire to help me get to know you and your family better. If you are like me and looove extra homework you can spend a few minutes making a Pinterest board to help me see the vibes you love (this is helpful but not required). From there I’m always happy to have a conversation over the phone about your ideas or questions. A few days before your session we’ll touch base to be sure we are on the same page and to go over things like weather, parking, etc.
Where do full sessions take place?
Either in your home or other beautiful nearby location, or we can do both if there is time. Together we can choose a location that works best for you. If you are in Charlottesville, click here for some of my favorite outdoor spots.
When should I book a photo session?
This depends on your goals! Fall and spring are gorgeous in Virginia and weekend dates fill up quickly. If you need print products by a certain date (like Mother’s day or Christmas) I recommend booking for at least 6 weeks ahead.
For those looking for maternity photos, I recommend around the 7-8 month mark for photos, though I’m down for taking your picture up until you are due!
